latest release

As a follow-up to the announcement on March 3rd, we are excited to announce further developments in the partnership between FC Europa, Lower Merion SC, and Radnor SC at the U13-U19 age groups.

The three clubs will formalize a collaboration with Sporting Delaware under the name Sporting Athletic Club for the Fall 2023 season. Sporting Athletic Club has been officially accepted to Boys MLS Next and Girls Academy for U13 - U19 age groups. These leagues provide an opportunity for our players to compete at the top level with exposure to collegiate and professional player pathways.

FC Europa, Lower Merion SC, and Radnor SC will form an independent partnership under the name Sporting PA. Sporting PA U13-U19 boys and girls teams will continue to compete in USYS EDP Mid-Atlantic Club vs Club and Premier Conferences, a direct pathway to USYS Regional and National Championships and National League P.R.O. These top USYS events provide excellent exposures to coaches from national and local D1, D2, and D3 college programs.

Sporting PA will field teams in all age groups for both boys and girls from U13 through U19. FC Europa, Lower Merion SC, and Radnor SC will retain their current identities at the intramural, recreational, and U8 through U12 travel teams. Each club will also have their own independent travel teams at the U13-U19 age groups. Sporting PA teams will train and compete at our current local fields used by FC Europa, Lower Merion SC, and Radnor SC.

Sporting PA tryouts will be held at The Proving Grounds throughout mid-April and early May in tandem with FC Europa, Lower Merion SC, and Radnor SC U13 - U19 tryouts. To learn more about Sporting PA and sign up for tryouts, please visit www.sportingpa.org.

Sporting Athletic Club MLS Next and Girls Academy tryouts will begin on March 31st and run through mid-April at Villanova University and Chase Fieldhouse. Sign up for tryouts at www.sportingac.com/tryouts
